My Uncle, Eugene Monroe Pennington, passed away last Friday, October 22, 1999 in the hospital in Poteau, Le Flore Co., OK. He was 74 years old and died from complications after surgery. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. I will always remember his smile and willingness to listen to the ramblings of a small boy asking about the trains he worked on and about his experiences in WWII.
