    I was just enjoying your site, again, and wanted to tell you how fantastic I think it is. You have done a beautiful job of recording our family tree. Sometime when you are updating things would you make a couple of changes in our area please? Under Eichelberger Family - Andrew John's last name is Denham rather than Eichelberber. As of now, Ray Eichelberger is still living. Under the Denham Family - Arthur Winfred Denham died in August 1970 in Dayton, Ohio and is burried there. Thank you so very much for creating such a great site that the whole family can enjoy.

    What is going on in your life? Are you enjoying retirement? Hal just had two knee surgeries that he is still recovering from, and I recently went through an arbitration hearing in which I represented myself and won, and now the defendants (stock brokerage firms) are suing me through a US District Court in Houston to try to reverse the award. I have to appear in Houston on March 3. So most of our time is spent between those two things and starting to prepare our income taxes. Betty and Del were just here for a short visit which I enjoyed very much. The rest of the family are doing OK. Linda will never be any better, just progressively worse. Jerry doesn't do what he needs to do to get better. LeRoy is trying very hard and doing great. He is sharing his story of how good God has been to him with everyone who will listen.

    If you come to Las Vegas, please remember that we are here. It would be great to see you.

Middle name changed on 7/15/15 due to e-mail from Paul Justis who discovered error in source document. He attached a new source document titled "1856 Powhatan Death Register w-Wm M Justis.pdf". Document saved to file.

I recently went to Richmond, Virginia to do a little research.
On microfilm - I located the Powhatan county Death Register
with the entry for our William M. Justis
On a page for the year 1856
line 41 Wm. M. Justis white male died 10 April in Powhatan county,
of Asthma, age 76 parents Daniel & _____ Justis; born Lunenburg county,
married - reported by W.W. Justis - son
The report by the professional genealogist Hamlin or whatever his name
was that showed him as Daniel V was incorrect. The person that was
making entries into the death register made his & and V are similar, but
by looking back up the page at other white people whose parents were
known, you see that same symbol between the father and mother's names.
In this instance - it seems as though Wm W. Justis was not aware of his
grandmother's name since there is a blank underline there.

As I remember, there are two Daniel Justis in Lunenburg. One is the son
of Zachariah I believe. According to a suit brought by Daniel & Mary the
widow of Zachariah - it seems there were 4 children of Zachariah.
Thomas, Susan, William & Daniel. Zachariah was married twice, so I'm not
sure who is the mother of these children, but I suspect his first wife, Nancy
Matthews was the mother and Mary Garrett was his second wife/widow.
Susan married Francis Barnes and had Clinton M. Barnes
William - not sure his wife, but two daughters Virginia Ann & Elizabeth.
Susan & William are deceased at the time of the suit in 1859.
